Is there anything less liberal, less fair minded, more naive, less opportunistic or more class focused than a Liberal Democrat? If there is I haven’t experienced it and I pray I never will.

It remains an urgent priority for the “Liberal” Democrats to discover what liberalism really is before they go throwing that term around, let alone using it on their letter headed paper.

Liberal does not mean cuddly, gushing, over the top insincerity and irresponsible ignorance culminating in an ultra-Nanny, interfering and wickedly authoritarian state. Honestly, it doesn’t. At least it didn’t used to.
