Tamiflu is an amazingly effective drug, in terms of profit generation for the drug companies at least. Whether it’s of any significant use in containing the H1N1 swine flu pandemic is a matter of opinion.

Those who are making a pile of cash are convinced of the health benefits and, in the main, big media is happy to endorse the sales pitch. But Dr Tom Jefferson, of the Cochrane Collaboration in Rome, has a different view.

Swine Flu, Now That’s Interesting!

The “new” H1N1 “swine flu” vaccination will be pushed through trials in as little as five days in the UK! Wow, let’s hope it’s safe and it works then, unlike the last time. Because this isn’t the first mass swine flu vaccination program. Is that news to you? If so it’s not a surprise because the media seems reluctant to talk about the 4,000 Americans that claimed damages amounting to $3.5billion following the last vaccination program.

The year is 1976 and the American government has issued warnings that swine flu could be a global killer. Yes, 1976. Over 46 million Americans are vaccinated. Here’s a little known 60 Minutes report on what happened next.
