Erm, no - not really, as I said at the time, <em>"I didn’t hear him complaining when Murdoch threw his weight behind the New Labour project in 1997. And I must have missed his impassioned speeches about the sinister surveillance state his buddies have subjected us all to. Invasion of privacy only becomes an issue when his mates are in the spotlight."</em> Prescott was last right about something a long time ago when he used to be a labour man. Of course he finds it easier to snipe from the sidelines and it's funny how a politician recovers his honesty (or what passes as honesty) once he's out of power. So no, I don't take a word of it back and what's more I'd like to see the senior members of the last government standing in court and explaining just how cosy the arrangement with Murdoch really was. Wouldn't you?

How ironic, it turns out everything Prescott said was true.

Betcha you feel pretty silly now?

While I agree with practically everything you say in this article... I do believe Prescott deserves some measure of compassion as he claims to suffer from an eating disorder... Anorexia isn't it?

Hannity made me do it! Sorry.

Those are contextually related geographically targeted adverts (I don't pick 'em Google does). So the Google robot must think this blog's a raving right-wing loony tribute to Sarah Palin, or something. Perhaps I've overdone it on the anti-Labour stuff - hating their living guts hasn't paid off in this one instance!

Now I've mentioned Palin US viewers are probably going to start seeing Rush Limbaugh. Grovelling apologies in advance.
