David Cameron is promising change. He hasn’t told us how much change, as yet. Probably a fraction of a penny in the pound. But will it be enough to buy the next election?
Obviously he doesn’t mean a change to the utterly rotten state of British politics. There’s no mention of holding the banksters to account for what they have done, no indication Britain will refrain from committing war crimes abroad, no promises to halt our nation’s slide into the European goo.
Politics would be priceless comedy were it not for the fact there are real victims.
